My Must-Try Foods in Disney's Magic Kingdom

If you don't go on vacation without thinking about food then are you really on vacation?! The hubs and I are ALL ABOUT THE FOOD on a trip *especially* when it comes to Disney World. On our recent trip to Disney in February 2021, we were able to use all of our extra budget money on food (which is exactly what we wanted to do and how we planned it!).

If you have a trip to The Magic Kingdom in Disney World coming and you're interested in the best places and foods to eat OR you didn't even think about food (who are you?!), then you've come to the right place!!

THE BEST PLACES & SNACKS TO EAT AT MAGIC KINGDOM IN DISNEY WORLD (Plus a bonus MEH)

Magic Kingdom-

1. Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich

Where: Sleepy Hollow in Liberty Square

Price: $8.49

This place is pretty hard to find unless you follow a map because it's a decently small walk up counter. BUT, this treat is SOOOOO worth every hype, wait time, and the price. It's a freshly made, soft waffle with a hazelnut spread (think Nutella) with fresh berries and bananas. One is big enough to share (if you love your family) with 2 people but if you have big eaters or kids, go ahead and get 2. Also, do yourself a favor and eat it while looking at the castle and let alllll the magic from the food and the surroundings to really make this treat #1 on your list too!

2. Lobster Roll

Where: Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square

Price: $16.99

We discovered this restaurant by accident the first time we went to Disney and we were distraught when it was closed during COVID. Thankfully, the Lord Jesus is good and Cosmic Ray's Sunlight Cafe had it on their menu one of the days we were there. Its delicious and pretty filling! Maybe not the best lobster roll in comparison to the ones I've had in Louisiana or fancier restaurants but it's a refreshing reprieve from burgers and pizza.

3. Chicken Rice Bowl, the Nachos and the Tacos

Where: Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe in Adventureland

Price: $10.99- $11.99

We ate here twice because I avoid heavy fatty foods such as burgers and pizzas. Pecos Bill had a wide selection of Spanish and gluten free options. Super tasty and a really good spot to sit on the patio for parades that go right by the restaurant!

4. Mickey Shaped Ice Cream, Mickey Shaped Pretzel, & Mickey Shaped Waffles

Where: You can find these treats at their own kiosks throughout all the parks. The waffles are found at hotels for breakfast time

Anything shaped like Mickey's head has got to taste good right?! Plus it adds to the magic of Disney!

5. Pineapple DOLE Whip® Cup

Where: Aloha Isle in Advenureland

Price: $4.99

This treat is on everyone's list and for good reason. Cold, refreshing, and super tasty! If you're hot and tired from the sun, grab a Dole Whip cup or float and head into the Tikki Room for a break!

BONUS- MEH Treat

1. Be Our Guest Presents The Grey Stuff Cupcake

Where: Gaston's Tavern

Price: $5.49

We've all heard "try the gray stuff, it's delicious!" so I was very excited to try it. $5 for a cookies and cream cupcake was wayyy overpriced and although it was delicious, it wasn't a favorite... or worth the price in my opinion! I've heard the the gray stuff inside Beauty & the Beasts Castle is better so let me know if you try it!

More Food Related Info:

- Disney World has a Starbucks & a Joffrey's in every park so if you're a coffee fan, they've got you covered!

- Churro carts dot the parks also. They're pretty good but if you're a big churro fan like me.... we've definitely had better.

-All restaurants have gluten free options! Check out their menus on the My Disney Experience app to order and see what works for you and your diet!

Let me know if you've tried any of these or if I've left some out!
